How to share a specific folder in Teams

1.  Open the files tab, navigate to the location of the folder you want to share. Click Open in SharePoint.

2. Tick the appropriate folder and then click Share.

3. In the dialogue box, click to change who should be able to view or edit the folder.

4. Choose specific people, this will ensure that the recipients will need to identify themselves by logging on.

5. Once you click apply, you will be able to enter in the email address of the person you want to share the folder with. Once you click send you'll get a notification that the link was sent.

6. The person you are sharing the folder with will receive and e-mail notification and will start the process of gaining access by clicking Open.

7. To verify the secure link, click Send Code.

8. Copy the code and navigate back to the sharing link. Paste in the code and click verify.

9. Click Next

10. Recepient will automatically be taken to the shared folder in SharePoint
