Sync Microsoft Teams files to OneDrive on your local computer

Files that are shared in a Microsoft Teams channel are available in the Files tab at the top of each channel. These files can be synced via OneDrive to your Windows computer so that you can easily access them.
  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Click on your Teams, then click on the “Channel” that you need to sync its files
  3. Click on the “Files” Tab, then from the Channel toolbar, and click on Sync as shown below
  4. This will sync the General folder. Click Documents to sync this folder instead



Once you click on the “Sync” button, you will get the below message that informs you that you have to install the latest Onedrive version to can sync files from Microsoft Teams.
